This is the **Beginners & Students** list, so the bar is simple: _would this have helped you in your first months of coding?_

- 🧮 Beginner-friendly algorithms & data-structure resources
- 🌿 Git/GitHub, terminal, and editor-setup helpers

Please keep out (send those to the [280+](../README.md) or [300+](../awesome-senior-engineer-resources/README.md) lists instead):

- ⚙️ Heavy infrastructure, distributed systems, or deep DevOps
- 🔒 Advanced offensive-security tooling
- 🧠 Research-grade ML/LLM internals

> **Rule of thumb:** if a total beginner would feel _encouraged_ opening it, it fits. If they'd feel _intimidated_, it probably belongs in another list.

## ✅ Quality checklist

Before you open a PR, make sure your repo:

- [ ] Is **free** and genuinely beginner-friendly
- [ ] Is **real, public, and active** (dead links get removed)
- [ ] Isn't **already listed** (a quick `Ctrl+F` saves us both time)
- [ ] Lives in the **most relevant section**

3. **Double-check** the link actually opens.
